   My hats off to Gary Sheffield.  He handled that situation with a lot of dignity.  Sheff would have been justified to retaliate against that idiot fan, but he came to his senses quickly.  It would've turned out worse than the notorious fan fight with Ron Artest in Detroit.  
   Here's the best solution for this type of dilemma:  If anybody physically attacks or throws an object at a player, then he or she should be immediately arrested and banned from any ballpark for two years.
