Considering the fact that DePodesta is only a year older than I am, he needs some more seasoning before he takes a major role as GM. The guy has potential, but he needed a little more time learning the basics from Billy Beane. I sure hope Beane will come to So-Cal soon.
Jim Tracy would still be the Dodger manager if DePodesta had left a little sooner. I think the McCourt's will regret letting Tracy go. In the next few years, watch him turn Pittsburgh or Tampa Bay (or wherever he goes) into a contender. On the bright side, the Dodgers could have a new skipper on the horizon named Orel Hershiser.
