1 0 All Reedster^48 RealNetworks nixes internet-deal with MLB 2/12/04, 3:00pm This is sad news for me. I haven't yet seen what MLB has decided to do with regards to the transmission of MLB games on the net (audio and video). I was a subscriber of the audio service (listening to the radio broadcasts of almost all games on the net). It was only $20 for the entire season. I also tried the video service (for free), and it looked awesome... just a little too steep for me, money-wise. I think RealNetworks is making a major mistake. Some other company is going to run with this, and - I suspect - make a good deal of money in the coming years as internet transmission gets even faster. [Reedster from Sylmar/CA] Replies:
