2005 World Series Final-Out Bat Sold for $18,400

     Houston pinch-hitter Orlando Palmeiro's final out bat was auctioned off over the weekend to an unnamed guy in the Chicagoland area.  Considering the significance of that bat, I'd say that the guy got it for a bargain.  Expect it to be sold a few years down the road for six-figures.
