     According to a rumor in the Washington Post, the Red Sox and several unnamed teams are interested in acquiring Alfonso Soriano.  If the Nats can't resolve the second base issue, then it's for the best.  Besides, Soriano seems unhappy with the team and he's a free agent at the end of the year.  The Bo-Sox have already offered Josh Beckett in exchange for Soriano.
