I agree with Reedster.  When there is such a close call between two players you always take the one that is not a Yankee.  Otherwise you'll end up paying too much and coming up short in the post season.  Also you will spread less evil in the universe.  I'm just glad this question wasn't asked to A-Rod..."You draft me...no wait you should take Pujols...(a week later)I would draft me...(two weeks later)you have to take Albert in that situation...etc."
