Bowden claims there was never any deal in the works to move Soriano, Johnson and/or Church to Boston.  I've learned to not believe most GMs as long as their lips are moving...but in this case, if the Nats really are picking up Astacio, I guess they thought he was more appealing than Arroyo or Clement.

I'll be happy to see both Arroyo and Clement still in Sox uniforms in April.
