I was very disappointed that Buck didn't get in. He's an amazingly classy guy, and he's lived and breathed baseball. As an All Star in the Negro Leagues, the first African American coach in the Majors, Negor League historian, the driving force behind the Negro League Hall of Fame Museum in Kansas City, and ambassador for the game of baseball. Quite frankly, I don't see how you can call it the Hall of Fame without him. Hopefully they will come to their senses soon and let him in while he is still with us. Now that will be an acceptance speech that no baseball fan will want to miss.
