Minor League Umps Vote To Authorize Strike

     The average salary of a AAA umpire is $15 K and many of them serve as substitutes for Major League games.  The Minor League umps didn't even have a union until 2000.  They should be making at least double.  It seems like there's too many greedy George Steinbrenner types among the owners in the minors.
