Comic relief in Dan Haren-Noah Lowry matchup, but the good news for the Athletics is that Haren's thumb seems fine

"It was probably the best sequence of pitches I've thrown this spring," Haren said with a grin, about the sequence of pitches he threw to Lowry.



If only all batters that Haren faces this year have Lowry's batting prowess, the thumb wouldn't matter. :)
