Detroit Tigers 2006 Preview from the Seattle Post Intelligencer

OUTLOOK 



The AL Central is a tough division for a young, rebuilding team to be in. Home to the World Series champion Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Twins, all good teams, Detroit will have its hands full just to get to .500. 



That said this is a team that is showing some promise and if they can start out the season good and build confidence the Tigers could surprise some people this season. But, most likely this squad is still a couple years away from serious competition in a tough division.
