Coco Crisp is sidelined for at least 10 days with a fracture on the base of his index finger on his left hand.  It was sustained trying to steal third base on Saturday against Baltimore

     An incident similar to this in grade school-without any fractures- taught me that it's not always practical to slide into a base head first.  I love Coco's hard-nosed style of play, but maybe he should consider this.
