Pat Tillman: American Hero

Because of his immense bravery and integrity, I can't help but pay tribute to a true American hero on this baseball-related site: Pat Tillman.



True, it is difficult to place MORE importance on one particular soldier at the expense of others who have lost their lives in the line of duty on behalf of our country.



But his story just seems a bit different, to me.  Here, we have a man who had every ability to stay away from the terrorism fight.  A 5-year, $9 million dollar contract, for one... fame, the big house, best cars, etc.



Yet, he gave it all up.



How many of us would have done the same?



R.I.P., Mr. Tillman.
