The Red Sox are down on Alex Gonzalez's offense, so they may be interested in acquiring Cesar Izturis from the Dodgers..  Is the Boston P.A. announcer referring to Gonzalez as Alex Rodriguez hoping that it might get him more hits?  You make the call...

     I understand why the Red Sox have become impatient with Gonzalez's offensive production, but he and Izturis are the same type of players--great defense and mediocre hitting.  This kind of trade wouldn't do much for the Sox.
