The Cards are likely to put Chris Carpenter on the D.L. due to a shoulder injury

     Tough loss for the Cards, not to mention the Quakes from BBM's BaseballGeeks League.  St. Louis should be fine in the meantime, as long as Mark Mulder can pick up the slack in his next 2-3 starts.
