S.F. Chronicle writers Mark Fainaru-Wada and Lance Williams challenge subpoena concerning leak of Bonds' grand jury testimony, arguing that the First Amendment protects reporters and their sources.  Also, on behalf of the writers, Carl Bernstein wrote to the judge stating that anonymous sources were instrumental in breaking the Watergate scandal...  Can you say AMEN??

     Great arguments by these two reporters and Bernstein. I don't see how a counter-argument could overcome this one.  Now, if Barry really believed that his buddy Greg Anderson gave him flaxseed oil, don't you think he'd be suing Fainaru-Wada and Williams for libel? You make the call......
