Sum and substance:  "It is not out of the realm of possibility that Fred McGriff could return to the Devil Rays as their DH in the next week or so.
He is still Tampa property under the terms of a minor league contract, and with Rays' designated hitters batting a paltry .161, McGriff, who is working out at the teams' minor-league complex, could find his way back on the roster."
