Phillies president says that the team made a mistake by allowing Brett Myers to pitch a day after the alleged spousal abuse

This news is coming out after the podcast has been recorded or I am sure we would have talked about it, but I disagree.  Spousal abuse is always wrong, but I don't agree that the Phillies should have been able to "sort it all out" within a day.



What if Mrs. Myers made a false accusation?



If that kind of precedent is set, then we create a scenario where, say, julted ex-girlfriends could really mess things up for ballplayers.
