WFAN's Chris Russo has been saying that the Mets new stadium shouldn't be named after Jackie Robinson because he never played for the team

     Hey, President Ulysses Grant never attended my high school, but the school is still named after him anyway.  Flushing, Queens is within ten miles of Flatbush, Brooklyn, so it's totally appropriate for the Mets to honor Robinson with their new stadium name.  It sure would beat being called "WalMart Stadium", "Nodody Beats The Wiz Ballpark", or some other corporate name.
