Interesting article introducing a new pitching statistic -- WMK -- WHIP minus strikeouts

Interesting concept... shows a value of a pitcher in terms of the hits and pitches allowed and strikeouts.



While a low whip correllates with a low ERA, generally, I think I would prefer a stat that includes ERA, but this stat is definitely intriguing.
