     Congrats to the Cards on their 10th W.S. victory.  I thought the Tigers would win it in five or six games, but St. Louis proved all of their critics wrong.  Jeff Weaver went from practically a zero to a hero in only a few months.  Early in the season, he was the laughingstock of the A.L. getting bumped off the L.A. of Anaheim roster by his brother.  Now, he's the toast of the Cardinal nation, almost single-handedly pitching them to the title.  Only in America..........




Sidenote to Missourians:  I highly recommend a "YES" vote on the expansion of stem cell research...... :)
