Bonds re-signs with the Giants for 1 year, 16 mill

Well, I am pretty much surprised that the Giants signed Barry, but more floored by the amount of money they are paying him.



If Barry does not get 23 HRs this year and break the record this year, this is wasted money; however, if he does it, I suspect the Giants brass will make a good deal of money on memorabilia.



Even that, though, is a gamble because of the steroid allegations taint of it all.
