Forget Cooperstown------  Here's evidence showing how baseball was invented in 18th century Britain

     This is quite a revelation for me.  It looks like Abner Doubleday didn't invent  baseball after all.  The modern game not only began in the U.K., but it was also most popular in the S.W. England/S.E. Wales area where some of my roots come from.  No wonder I love the game so much.
