Joe Morgan said this about 23-year-old Mets reliever Joe Smith:  "He told me he grew up watching The Big Red Machine", Cincy's potent offense of the '70's.  The problem?  Smith was born in 1984

     I'm run of the few out there who actually finds some of Morgan's analyses interesting, but it's kind of strange that he didn't think about correcting Smith in person or on the broadcast last Sunday.
