     I'm reluctant to admit this, but I believe the Angels could surprise some people this year.  Overall, they have a better pitching staff than the A's and could do slightly better in offense, as long as Garret Anderson's hitting continues to get back to its old form.  Expect a horserace between Oaktown and L.A.'s team of Anaheim down the stretch.
