How does this make any sense for the Marlins?  They already got Jorge Julio from the scrapheap and that hasn't really worked out.  Kevin Gregg was actually a serviceable closer.  Very odd.  At least they didn't give up any serious talent for him.  

I guess the Marlins thought Benitez wanted to move down to Florida before he got much older.
