He is 35 years old, and I think he had some good years left in the tank.  He says that there were a number of teams who were interested, but he had decided that this was his last contract.



The article also mentions that he is building his dream house in Irvine.  And, he has two kids.



So, I suspect he will be back next year after realizing that he will need to pay for that house and for the kids' college educations. :)
