Angels Score Top College Pitcher in Draft

It just keeps getting better for the Angels.... Now they get Jered Weaver, considered the top prospect in the draft, at No. 12. Other teams were scared off by the potential bucks they will have to pay him and agent Scott Boras.



I read one publication touting Weaver, brother of the Dodgers' Jeff, as the biggest sure thing since Alex Rodriguez.... 

However, it is a baseball draft and too much shouldn't be put inot this.. Tood Van Poppel anyone? Darren Dreifort, for that matter.
