Ryan Braun signs 8-year, $45 million dollar contract

The timing is kind of funny here.  It was almost as if the Brewers were waiting for Braun to show his power stroke before they made the committal.  I suppose 5 HRs in three or so days was good enough evidence for them.



Compared to Jeff Suppan's $40+ million deal a year or so ago, this reeks of brilliance.
