Willie Randolph stays on as Mets skipper after marathon meeting with team brass

     At least N.Y. has a team with empathetic ownership, compared to their crosstown rivals.  Randolph turned around the franchise in the previous two seasons and deserves a chance to continue and try to get the Mets out of their current slump.  Unfortunately, it's a difficult thing to do because of the pressure brought forth from the N.Y. media when you're struggling.
