Gary Sheffield released by the Tigers

One shy of 500 HRs... Tim Kurkjian at ESPN says he thinks Gary will be signed elsewhere, but Gary looked pretty bad in spring... and not at all good last year.



I still assert that he is a solid sleeper IF he can find a team... 2007 was too good for a supersized regression... Sheffield always has seemed to me to be a player who performs well under pressure or when he is angry.



He should be very angry right now.
