That might be where my dislike from Beltre stems from.  I despise players who step it up in contract years.

This year will be key for my opinion of Beltre.  The added difficulty for him is that SAFECO ain't the best place to hit in the world, so it is an uphill climb for him to impress me (not that he would care, but still...)
