It's quite monumental for the Red Sox organization to be in the forefront in support of giving the Congressional Gold Medal to Jackie Robinson. The Yawkey family had the most racist reputation in baseball and didn't sign a black player (Pumpsie Green) until '59. I'm glad to see the Sox making up for the wrongs of their past. Robinson definitely belongs in the same class with Clemente for contributions to baseball and humanity on and off the field.
