My personal feeling is that once I pick up a player from a team I don't like... that player is now a Litigator.

Bottom line for me in fantasy is winning (although you might be hard-pressed to believe this based upon my recent results in the standings).

If I have an asshole on my team (i.e., a Carl Everett, Barry Bonds, or -- yes -- I'll include Sheffield), I'll take him if he can give me a chance to win.

I'd say that you should take this attitude.  You'll only shoot yourself in the foot, otherwise.

For instance, to make sure you don't get Sheffield, you'll have to place him in the bottom 20 or so in OFs.  You only HELP teams like mine because we'll have to pay LESS for the expected stellar stats from folks like Mr. Sheffield.
