Before Tigers' fans get too excited here are the numbers for Rheal Cormier last season...

4-2 with a 5.89 ERA in 57 appearances pitching 47.1 innings walking 16 and striking out 34.  He has a career 4.08 ERA.  Looking over his career stats shows a lot of ups and downs.  In 2003 Cormier was 8-0 with a 1.70 ERA, but he also has a few seasons with an ERA over 5.  Oh yeah...he is going to be 39 in April.
