     Welcome aboard, Neoprene!!!  Unfortunately, the Royals won't be able to compete with the White Sox because it's hard nowadays for small-market teams to compete with the big ones without a salary cap.  But, despite this, K.C. did improve their infield like you said.  The pickup of Reggie Sanders ( #3 ranked outfielder on <b><i><a href="http://playertrack.com" target="_blank">playertrack.com</a></b></i> :)) should help as long as he stays healthy.  The future is definitely looking brighter for the Royals.
