But, I grew to like his style, his strange accent, and his reliability. He was as much a voice of the Dodgers as is Vin. You heard Ross' voice and you knew it was Dodger time. I enjoyed Drysdale's broadcasts too, and remember how he used to always talk about brushing the batters back with the inside heat. I still listen to many of the radio broadcasts online now, and miss Ross. Having a pair of announcers calling a Dodger game is still strange to me. [squanto from Cedar Park/TX] Replies:
