They end the voting process way too early in my opinion. The way things are now, there will be atleast 3 or 4 Yankees & 2 or 3 Red Sox in the all star game every year just because they are "popular". It's flat out rediculous! I'm not watching the game this year & contributing to FOX network's Yankees/Red Sox ass kissing contest. The same can be said for the Cardinals & Mets in the NL. If the all star game is going to actually mean something(home field advantage in the World Series), than it truly needs to be an all star game & not a "big city market love contest"! If the system stays the same, the players playing for "big market teams" will always get voted in. Your AL line ups will always consist of nothing but Yankees & Red Sox.
