1 0 All Reedster Must win for the U.S. 3/10/06, 12:28pm U.S. must win their match against the South Africans today and they must not let the South Africans score... a win by the U.S. will result in a three way tiebreaker. The second tiebreaker, applicable here, is runs allowed per number of innings. Right now, the U.S. is probably 6-8 runs allowed ahead of the Canadians... If the South Africans pull out this game, the U.S. is out. Also, if the U.S. allows a ton of runs (even with a victory), they could still be out. So far so good, though. Clemens gets the South Africans out in the bottom of the first 1-2-3, and the U.S. scored 4 runs in the first, including a 2 run shot by Jeter. [Reedster from Sylmar/CA] Replies: 100
