good day for a mets fan,  record-12-5

Today was an awesome day for a mets fan. The mets won 8-1, pedro pitched 7 innings (2 hits, 11 strike outs)n and pike piazza hit a homerun for the padres only run. Xavier Nady hit a homerun and Carlos Delgado hit a homerun. And it was especially good that pedro went 7 because 2 nights ago the Mets played a 14 inning game and everyone in the mets bullpen pitched except Jorje Julio and he was able to finish off last nights game.
Today the mets play the final game with the padres at 4:05
