Thanks for reading Drrub. I hate the Yankees as well. I'm also a Red Sox fan, so you don't have to tell me about Steinbrenner and co. I think he's lost his way, AGAIN. If you really look at it, many (not all, of course) of his core players of those championship teams were homegrown (Jeter, Williams, Pettite, etc.). Then he started going apeshit with buying all of the free agents. He did that back in the eighties, too, and those teams were garbage (except Mattingly, one of my favorite players). You think a guy might learn, huh? That being said, I can't wait to go to Fenway this August to catch Sox-Yanks from the outfield bleachers. Could you think of a better way to spend your 30th birthday? I sure as hell can't.
