I think it is interesting that there are a number of stud pitchers from just a few years ago who have suddenly lost velocity after all of the steroid hubbub.

Jason Schmidt and Eric Gagne are two, huge, striking examples.

I think that it is also noteworthy that the majority of folks getting suspended now for roids are pitchers.

You're going to hate this comment, but I was looking forward to seeing what Juan Cruz (my new fantasy pickup) could do against my benched Oliver Perez.

Knowing my luck thus far this year, however, Perez would pitch a no hitter and Juan Cruz would get shelled for 9ER in 1.2 IP.

Perhaps, a rainout is just what the doctor ordered. :)  Sorry you missed the game...  enjoyed the post, though.
