Do you know what I love most about you guys?  Your optimism.

Santana has had TWO away starts where he has allowed FIVE earned in THIRTEEN innings.  This is a 3.46 ERA.  Certainly much better than last season after TWO away starts.

One of those away teams was Minnesota (.257 team BA, 9 HR through 19 games, 10/14 in BA) and the Texas Rangers (.260, 19 HRs, 6/14 in BA).

The Texas game was indeed impressive because after Ervin allowed a 3 run HR to Blalock in the FIRST INNING, he settled down.

But, let's be honest.

Is this enough sampling for us to determine that the home-away split issue with Ervin Santana is done?

I don't think so.
