I would do it. If Doumit doesnt pan out all you lose is Blalock. Gio Gonzalez is a very good prospect in the A's organization with a killer curve ball. They say he could be coming up this year if they aren't in the race come summer. You don't lose much because Blalock was not having a good season and is currently on the DL. Plus Rob said to get him in the beginning of the year and you know what happens when you hype someone up. If Doumit continues you can dangle Jorge Posada for a 3b. Whatever you do dont TRADE Chase.
