You can't help but wonder how Halper got a hold of certain historical souveniers, such as Ty Cobb's dentures and the 1919 Red Sox contract that sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees. A few years ago, I saw that Red Sox contract when the "Baseball As America" tour came to L.A.
