Good news, Orioles' fans. You need SOMETHING to cheer about next year.

Obviously, Tejada didn't like the idea of moving to third base for the Phillies. The O's aren't a bad team offensively. In addition to Tejada, they have Melvin Mora, Javy Lopez, Ramon Hernandez, and of course, Sammy Sosa and Raffy "I never INTENTIONALLY used steroids" Palmeiro, who have a little pop left in their bats. They have an added bonus if Brian Roberts can prove that last season wasn't a fluke. In order to compete with the Yankees and the Red Sox, they need to add some quality pitching by opening day.

Actually, the O's have already given up on Sosa and Palmeiro. Both of those guys are without a team.

As for Brian Roberts, he showed int he 2nd half that 1st half numbers were fluke. Can you say Brady Anderson? Same team, too.
