The Mets should be the favorite in the N.L. East this year, especially with Billy Wagner pitching most of his games in pitcher friendly parks. But, the Braves keep defying the odds and take the eastern crown every year, so it's not a sure thing. Besides, Wagner has had some injury troubles in the past. Time will tell.
Scott Elarton (#2 behind Wagner) could have a major breakthrough season and be the biggest sleeper of all when it comes to pitchers. I'll keep an eye on him when the fantasy leagues arrive. Elarton did better than many others in hitters parks and could be devastating to his opposition this season.
