Here is a guy that PlayerTrack.com ranked as one of the top 10 second basemen last year (you would have heard this in our third podcast).

For fantasy purposes, this signing MIGHT be a bad-thing because the 28-year old doesn't have to fight for a decent contract anymore.

Nonetheless, he surprised everyone (including Billy Beane and the rest of the A's front office), so he is someone to take a look at, if you have the ability to gamble, towards the end of your draft.
