The 33-year-old Martinez hit .286 in limited duty with the Philadelphia Phillies last season. He had one homer -- a grand slam in a 12-4 victory over Atlanta on Sept. 14 -- and nine RBI. The 27-year-old Ainsworth spent last season on the Baltimore Orioles' disabled list and the team didn't offer him a contract for this year.
