Baseball is still too weak on this issue. I think they are promoting the use of steriods with their weak policies.

I think baseball needs an overhaul. I think a salary cap is needed to insure competitive equity. I also think that mandantory steriod testing should be done with severe implications if one tests positive for these substances. With baseball today how can you not do steriods. If you are a stud prospect and through work ethic and solid training you have made it to the cusp of a major league contract and someone behind you on the depth chart is on the juice and surpasses you because of it and lands the hefty contract how do you compete? If you are a star and are clean and someone else posts incredible numbers that surpasses your achievements because they are on the juice...How do you compete?Steriod testing should be mandatory and if one tests positive once then they should be suspended for a year. If a subsequent test proves positive then they should be banned from the game and they should not be allowed in the hall of fame. Baseball should set a precedence and a message to those aspiring to a major league career....If you want a career in baseball, then stay away from the juice.

I agree with you Boogaman! Here, here!! I think players like Barry Bonds & Mark McGwire might have used steroids at one time or another!
